SnapLotto Monthly Promotional Draw
One winner stands a chance to receive R1,000 via eWallet every month. These rules explain who can take part, how entries are earned, how referrals qualify, and how winner payout works.
Who can enter
EligibilityYou may take part in the Monthly Promotional Draw if you:
- are 18 years or older
- are lawfully resident in South Africa
- have a registered SnapLotto profile
- comply with these rules
The scanner remains available to everyone, but promotional draw entries only count for signed-in users with a registered profile.
How entries are earned
Entry RulesSuccessful unique scan
A signed-in participant earns 25 entries when a ticket scan completes successfully and SnapLotto treats it as a unique qualifying ticket for promotional draw purposes.
Qualified referral
A participant earns 100 entries when the referred person creates a new account using the participant’s referral code or link, completes verification, and finishes their first successful scan while signed in.
Monthly limits
Caps- Maximum rewarded scans per month: 20
- Maximum rewarded referrals per month: 5
- Maximum total entries per month: 1,000
- Entries do not roll over into the next month.
Referral rules
Referrals- Referral entries are awarded only once per referred user.
- Referrals must be genuine new users.
- Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fake accounts, or attempts to manipulate the promotion are not allowed.
- SnapLotto may withhold, reverse, or void referral entries that do not satisfy the qualified referral requirements.
Winner selection and payout
Winner Process- One provisional winner is selected at random from valid approved entries earned during the relevant monthly cycle.
- Winner selection takes place after month-end.
- SnapLotto may review the selected winner’s eligibility and activity before confirming the prize.
- The winner must respond and provide the information reasonably needed to complete the eWallet payout within 7 days of contact.
- If the winner cannot be reached, fails to respond in time, or cannot complete payout requirements, SnapLotto may select an alternate winner.
Fraud, privacy, and technical issues
Protection- SnapLotto may disqualify participants, remove entries, or refuse payout where it reasonably believes there has been abuse, fraud, duplicate account creation, repeated re-use of the same ticket, automated manipulation, or false information.
- SnapLotto may process account, scan, referral, and contact data to administer the promotion, validate entries, detect fraud, contact the winner, and complete payout.
- SnapLotto is not responsible for entries not received or not credited because of network issues, interrupted device connections, incomplete verification, unsupported device state, or fraud review.
